ITAA ARGUES GEO-LOCATION TECHNOLOGIES DON'T WORK FOR TAX
The Information Technology Association of America has released a report which argues that geo-location technologies, which can be used to identify the location of e-commerce customers, does not provide sufficient information for the purposes of levy consumption taxes. The ITAA argues that planned EU VAT tax rules place an unmanageable burden on businesses.
