Inside the Session Initiation Protocol

Inside the Session Initiation Protocol
All of these problems are addressed by SIP. With SIP, each user is identified through a hierarchical URL that's built around elements such as a user's phone number or host name (for example, SIP:user@company.com). The similarity to an e-mail address makes SIP URLs easy to guess from a user's e-mail address.

O'Reilly's IPv6 Overview

O'Reilly's IPv6 Overview
It touches on what a lot of us already know, like a larger addressable space, security, and mobility, but it also goes into some detail that others may not know yet. It gives information on how addresses are divided between host bits and network bits, address creation, NDP, name resolution, multicasting, localnets, and localsites. It also has RFC references for the more demanding researchers among us, see also Slashdot
