60 percent of U.S. on Web in January
60% of people in the United States have access to the Internet at home or at work, with a total of 168 million people connecting to the Web in January, according to a report by Nielsen/NetRatings released on 15 Feb 2001. Internet penetration rose to 60 percent compared to 56.5 percent in October.
